Cantinka should be nominated for an Oscar, the film should be nominated and win Best Picture, Sound, Costumes, Best Cinamatography, (Can't spell it, but you know what I mean!)
By Gosh, they got an Elephant, thats right an ELEPHANT to swim in the ocean and they filmed it from the bottom of the ocean bed.
The many countries and cultures are top notch filmed.
I wish I could make you understand what a WONDERFUL piece of imagination and filmmaking this is.
Get it!!!!!!! Rent it!!!!! See it!!! ENJOY it!!!! Indulge!!!!

... Remarkable performances, sheer vision ... (2009-01-02)
Just saw the DVD of "The Fall" and wish I'd seen it on the big screen. I found it surprisingly original with amazing cinematography; remarkable performances; sheer vision. Some "critics" have dismissed it as eye candy unworthy of "thought." I disagree. While there is an element of Bollywood-ism, the imagery resonates at many levels. The best ever? Probably not, but for lyric and daring I give it 80%. I expect it will reach global audiences, whatever its reception over canapes and punditry at NY and LA screening parties.

Worth owning on BluRay (2008-12-29)
This movie is among one of the many reasons to own BluRay. The visuals are simply stunning. The movie is really great too, although some might not like the storytelling style of the movie; I found it to be entertaining and fun. I can't stress how arresting the visuals are. Many of the shots are incredibly vivid and are a great workout for your system. This movie would function as a great barometer for color accuracy. Simply a must-own (or at least, must-vew) BluRay.

Visually Stunning To Watch... So-So Storyline (2008-12-21)
The cinematography, costume, surreal back drops and visual effect were absolutely stunning to watch in this movie... Plus the acting was decent. All of these factors are reason enough to watch the movie alone as you won't be disappointed for the stunning visual display....

The biggest disappointment was the the storyline itself. A bit on the slow side. Otherwise a decent film.

I can't really rate the product as the DVD would not play on my DVD player and was returned for credit.
